Frank Frangie
Founder of Walk Off Charities

Frank Frangie is an American sports announcer who works as an afternoon drive talk show host on 1010XL/92.5 FM radio stations in Jacksonville, FL. He is the radio play-by-play voice of the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL football team. Frangie is originally from Jacksonville, attended Englewood High School and later the University of Florida, where he earned a degree in Journalism and Communications in 1980.

 

He began his sports media career as a part-time sportswriter for the Florida Times-Union/Jacksonville
Journal upon graduation from college and became a full-time sportswriter with the paper in 1985. He was a sportswriter, covering high schools, then major colleges, then finally the University of Florida. He also wrote columns for the afternoon editions of the paper. He remained with the paper until March,1993.

Kenedy Grayson
Director of Marketing and Development 

Kenedy serves as the Director of Marketing and Development for Walk Off Charities. In her role,  her main responsibilities include overseeing all marketing strategies and campaigns to promote our charitable organization. She will work closely with the team to create targeted marketing materials, manage social media platforms, and organize fundraising events to maximize our reach and impact in the community. Additionally, she will establish relationships with potential donors and sponsors, ensuring sustained support for our mission of helping those in need through walking initiatives and philanthropic efforts.

 

As a Jacksonville native, Kenedy attended high school locally and the University of North Florida. Most recently Kenedy was the Chief of Staff and Operations for Airstream Ventures. In this role she oversaw all day to day operations of the organization  and developed and maintained relationships with corporate partners.

Jarrod Simmons
Executive Director

Jarrod Simmons serves as the Executive Director of Walk Off Charites. In his role, he leads the mission and vision of the charity, from programs and events, to fundraising and development. Jarrod oversees all marketing, communications, media, operations, partnerships, and more. Growing the game of baseball with youth is a passion and life mission for him.

 

A Jacksonville native (Arlington) and Terry Parker baseball alumni, Jarrod played four years of college baseball, two at College of Central Florida (current JUCO World Series Champion) and two at Flagler College. Graduating with honors and a Sport Management bachelor’s degree, Jarrod worked ten years in professional baseball, three years under Peter Bragan Jr. with the Jacksonville Suns and seven years with the Atlanta Braves. With the Braves, Jarrod created their Growing the Game platform, helping youth to learn and play the game across the Southeast.

Rick Kane
Program & Events Coordinator

Rick Kane serves as a program and events coordinator for Walk Off Charities. He supports programming at Fort Family Regional Park, including youth developmental baseball for ages 8-12, and our traveling baseball clinics. Rick is the primary PA Announcer for the PreSeason High School Classic and the South State Spring Series.

Originally from Hilton, New York, Rick played college baseball for the Brockport Golden Eagles, serving as a team captain for two years. He was a Graduate Assistant at Florida State University while earning his master’s degree. Rick served on staff of Mike Martin Baseball Camps and coached at Leon High School.

Since moving to the Jacksonville area, Rick has been involved in developing players and programs from the youngest levels of youth baseball to collegiate summer leagues. He is the baseball announcer for the University of North Florida Ospreys. He earned a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of North Florida in 2019. Rick is currently the Physical Education Teacher at Pine Forest Elementary School.

Ziggy Graves
Facilities Manager

Ziggy Graves is a Jacksonville native, proud husband, and father of two energetic boys. He holds a degree in Criminal Justice from Florida State College at Jacksonville and is a proud U.S. Army veteran.


Ziggy has a lifelong passion for youth sports, especially baseball. As a former athlete and multiple-time state champion, he enjoys helping young athletes build confidence, develop their skills, and, most importantly, have fun. Whether coaching youth baseball or supporting fellow veterans as they discover new passions, Ziggy is always looking for ways to give back to his community.
Outside of work, Ziggy stays busy supporting his own children, who play baseball, soccer, and football. In his downtime, he enjoys spending time outdoors around wildlife with his family.

Hayden Brown

Hayden was born and raised in Jacksonville and graduated from Christ’s Church Academy, where he was a two-sport athlete. He went on to attend Southeastern University, playing football all four years.

In the summer of 2025, Hayden interned with Walk Off Charities as an Event and Facilities Intern, assisting with the setup and execution of the annual golf tournament and accompanying auction. He also organized and hosted field days with schools and leagues throughout the Jacksonville area and volunteered at numerous clinics. Seeing the kids smile and enjoy the game continues to remind Hayden why he is passionate about the work he does.

Kami Eppley

Kami joined Walk Off this past fall, and will be continuing to work with us this spring. During her internship with Walk Off Charities, Kami has contributed both in and out of the office. In the office, she has assisted with editing and updating the website, booking facility rentals, and coordinating ticketing through GoFan. Outside the office, she has helped organize and run clinics, managed inventory, and assisted with coaching recreational teams.

 

Kami Eppley was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. She graduated from Episcopal School of Jacksonville before attending Stetson University, where she competed as a collegiate softball player. Kami earned her degree in Marketing with a minor in Sport Business. Growing up playing softball in Jacksonville she is passionate about giving back to the community.

Dalton Cruz

Dalton Cruz is from Fernandina Beach, Florida, and is currently a senior at the University of North Florida, majoring in Sport Management. He completed his practicum with THE PLAYERS Championship in 2025 and is now a full-time intern with Walk Off Charities. In addition to his professional experience, Dalton serves on the Youth Ministry and Communications team at The Journey Church. In 2026, he was nominated for induction into the Commission on Sport Management Accreditation (COSMA) Chi Sigma Mu (CSM) Honor Society, an honor awarded to the top Sport Management students in their class.

Our board is a dedicated group of individuals aimed at providing the best possible outcomes for the youth we are impacting. These individuals come from various backgrounds, both public and private sectors, and have a passion for youth development.
