DESERVES THE CHANCE TO PLAY BASEBALL
Walk Off Charities believes that every child deserves the chance to play baseball. Outside of the physical aspect of the sport, baseball provides a great platform to help children develop mentally, socially, and emotionally. The hope is that through baseball, a positive impact can be made on the lives of youth in Jacksonville.
To provide opportunities, resources, and access to the game of baseball for any youth that desires to learn or play.
Since 2017, Walk Off has been able to impact nearly 5,000 youth through various events and programs, centered around baseball.
Over 3,000 third grade students have attended our clinics and received a free baseball glove, thanks to our partnership with Duval County Public Schools (DCPS) and top area coaches
More than 1,200 youth have been able to play for FREE in a league, 90% playing in an organized season for the first time
Over 800 area high school players have participated in our preseason baseball tournament, with the final games televised
Through partnerships with the city of Jacksonville, corporate and private donations, we have been able to invest over $300,000 in field renovations or facility upgrades
Partnerships with 10+ local parks/leagues to assist in creating a better league experience for participants
To become the most impactful baseball-centric non-profit in our city that provides youth pathways to success.
To introduce youth to the sport, create play opportunities, provide equipment, and upgrade facilities.
To continue to support the growth of baseball by breaking down socio-economic barriers for entry, experience, and exposure providing youth access and opportunity for development.
