FORT FAMILY

Regional Park

Fort Family Regional Park is a City of Jacksonville owned facility that includes several sports fields, bathrooms, concessions, picnic pavilions, basketball courts, pickle ball and tennis courts, a freshwater fishing lake, parking, and walking trails.

The sports fields include:

  • 3 brand new artificial turf baseball fields

  • 1 brand new artificial turf rectangular field

  • 1 additional natural turf (grass) rectangular field

An additional grass “flex” field is adjacent to the south end of the artificial turf rectangular field. The tennis and pickle ball courts are just off the main entrance to the park and include 6  tennis courts and 5 pickle ball courts.

Beginning in the summer of 2023, Walk Off Charities, a local youth baseball nonprofit focused on providing opportunities and access to the game of baseball, will be managing the sports fields and adjacent facilities (excluding the tennis/pickle ball court facility) for the City of Jacksonville.

Fort Fields

Various sports and adult/youth groups will be using the rectangular fields on a seasonal basis with programming running spring, summer, fall, and winter. Fort Fields, as they are called, can be permitted for use for both adult and youth events
or programs. To request more information or to express your interest in becoming an approved user group at the park, please fill out the form below.
